I guess its time to re-invent the wheel again. I got this little message on my computer this morning explaining to me that support for Windows XP is ending next week. Ive had this same computer for 10 years and does everything I need. No problems with it at all. Now its apparently a piece of junk and Microsoft is very concerned about this. God forbid I dont partake in their exciting new technologies and apps until they are also outdated two months from now. This is my favourite part of the message...How do I stay protected?: Get a new PC. If your current PC cant run Windows 8.1, it might be time to consider shopping for a new one. Theyre more powerful, lightweight, and stylish than ever before—and with an average price thats considerably less expensive than the average PC was 10 years ago. Gee thanks, Microsoft. You forgot to use the word sucker throughout the message, though. Well, Im not buying it. Im gonna keep running this thing until it dies. No need to worry about new and exciting apps. I live an app-free life. I hate modern technology with a passion.
