I guess my guilty editor confession is that I still find the rules regarding the use of who vs. whom confusing. I can usually figure it out in a straightforward interrogative sense by considering whether the answer would be phrased he/she or him/her, but my head just gets muddled in more complicated constructions. I really have no ear for this one. Which brings me to my question. How would you correct this sentence? Passive voice focuses on whom or what is receiving the action, while active voice focuses on who or what is performing the action within a sentence.
