I guess theres nothing wrong with speaking ones mind but here goes! Reading beauty blogs is a great way in finding the latest beauty product/s out there and knowing how well the product/s work through reviews. I may not be an aesthetician or dermatologist, but this is just what my dermatologist taught me. Yes, it takes 24-48 hours to know if youre allergic to a product through patch test. When your skin passes the patch test, it does not mean your skin wont react to certain ingredient/s found in a product. It takes 2-4 weeks to fully see how a product works especially with skincare. Im assuming a lot of beauty bloggers know about that. But, when i see an instagram post by a beauty blogger or a blog post on a skincare routine/skincare product review and when he/she claims that it works after a few days to a week, im under the impression of it being a paid review/product placement. Nothing wrong with getting paid to review products but come on give your skin time to react to a product first to ensure your readers it is an honest review, paid product placement or not. There are those as well who cant say anything bad about the product and not further explain why it works for them based on the list of ingredients. Then there will be some complaining that theyre breaking out really bad when they keep on road testing products altogether just to make a review asap. Sorry for the rant...
