I guess this one more scare wouldnt hurt me or Kaedyn..Wow so they moved us to the bed 1 in PICU BC they tried very lil invasive things to get Kaedyns heart rate down on the Stepdown floor n nothing worked. Its staying up in the 180s n 190s which is very tachycardia very dangerous causing his heart to wear out. So time we get to the PICU bed 1 they start working on him bringing heart teams in. We are all gathered around Kaedyns bed and the one Dr has 2 syringes in her hand one to slow the heart down n the other to immediately flush behind it. By this point Im hysterical.holding Kaedyns hand n praying. The team starts counting down to 0 and then they slam this med into the iv n flush everybody watching the monitors it drops Kaedyns heart rate down to 60 for 2 seconds then it races back up to 185.. Then they say OK double the dose so they repeat this time same reaction goes down 2 seconds races back up to 207. Now the risk are for this med heart attack or it could stop the heart. By this time my head is pounding n I just want to scream n say no but I couldnt do either I was so scared I couldnt say a word. Well no luck with this procedure so gave him something to make him rest tonight and Dr said by 12noon tomorrow the heart team will know what to do about his heart. Im losing my mind up here. Im not prepared for stuff like this. Lord please heal my babies organs make then function the way that they should. EVERYONE PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT.
