I guess you all know I was pretty bummed about the SOTC election results. I worked my butt off on that election and yes I took it personally when it wouldnt adversely affect anyone and yet they didnt vote for it. I stayed home from work yesterday to re-energize re-think and then put my big girl panties on and went to work. Im so glad I did. I work with some pretty terrific people and I have some really great friends and family and two pretty wonderful men that live with me. My hubby brought these to me at work today (he doesnt do flowers for occasions) and got this card and some other gifts but really your kind words mean as much to me as anything. Its nice just knowing I cant get much work done (ha!) because my phone was constantly letting me know that yet another friend, family member and even a few very kind casual acquaintances were letting me know they were thinking about me on my special day (yes even at 48 its special and yes I still have a birthday week). Thank you all for taking my downer mood to a smiling day. Well, in the end speech of Vince Gill last night (CMAs), the number of people in attendance at your funeral is highly dependent on the weather!
