I had 2 days with my new bestie. It was short but sooo sweet!! I have been working this field for 6 years and every now and then I come across ones that truly blessed me!! Cecil is one of them!!! She is a beautiful spirit, a God loving woman, from Arkansas/ Lousiana border...she worker her families 80 acres cotton fields, washed clothes for white people, and went to college, got her degree and taught both black & white children in a small school house for 38 years. She came to California when she was 98 years young and chose to give up driving because of our traffic. Her words to me, you never know where God wants you to be. I never thought I would be in California with a white lady taking care of me. Cecil, It was MY honor to have met you and take care of you!!! God Bless my new bestie!!!! (105 yrs. young)
