I had KARMA experience today. Trying to sell that solid pine table & chairs that I have stripped, waxed & recovered the chairs in new fabric. Its beautiful & I put lot of work into it. I was asking £150 for it. Some woman offered me £70 for it yesterday. I said no. Then she offered me £80 I said no. Then she offered me £90. I said she could have it for £100. £50 below my asking price. She messed me about for 10 hours. She pleaded poverty to me so I was going to let her have it for £50 less than I wanted. Then she was begging me to let her have it for £90. I said OK. Then she asked for us to deliver it a 18 mile round trip! Gary said NO Fway. I told her I was not prepared to deliver it that far after giving her a £60 discount & if she wanted it delivering, I wanted £100. I then saw that she was asking for a oak table, a HTC phone, a Shabby chic lamp, a rug & a fooking dishwasher!!! Funny cos thats a hell of lot of stuff to be asking for if you are skint! Any way, I messaged her today asking if she still wanted it & she said NO ta. I was really angry.Then tonight I saw a post from her on a for sale group, whinging that she had just spent £110 on a dish washer & it was broken! Thank you KARMA. You made my day :D
