I had LDS Missionaries visit a few weeks ago. They just rang the bell. I invited them in and welcomed them into my home. Then asked, Do you both have a testimony? The first answered Yes. The second answered Yes, I have a strong testimony! I looked at the first quizzically and waited for reaction. I then told them that I was excommunicated and an apostate. They proceeded to tell me they were giving the message of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I responded with the question, Do you know the third Article of Faith? They both struggled but with a little help recited it. I pointed out that salvation is attained thru ...Obedience to the Laws and Ordinances of the Gospel And a short discussion about definition of ordinances and Laws. I asked about the Laws and the Strong Testimony responded The Commandments. I responded the Temple Laws. S.T. jumped up from sitting and headed for the door, I dont feel the spirit,here!
