I had a 56 Studebaker Golden Hawk car years ago. It had an Oldsmobile Rocket 88 motor that we managed to cram under the hood. Stud didnt have that good a motor but Olds did. It had duel exhaust with mechanical dumps. As I passed a vehicle I would pull two levers that opened two valves that dumped the exhaust before the mufflers, scaring the living shit outta the other motorist. I really enjoyed doing this. Probably a character defect I had cultivated and nurtured. Anyhow,I wonder why I never see that on big twin m/cs. Now you hear it now you dont.
