I had a biking accident last Saturday at the Audax 300 km challenge ( from Subic to Dansol, Pangasinan and back). It was raining, so the roads were slippery, and I crashed causing me to dislocate my right elbow (again). Fortunately, a fellow biker had a support vehicle close by, so I was immediately brought to the nearest hospital (the Santa Cecilia Medical Center in Iba, Zambales) where I underwent closed reduction of the involved elbow. I am doing fine right now and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped, showed their support, and expressed their concern! THANK YOU everyone! Thanks especially for Jonnel Cruz wthout whose support vehicle it would not be possible for me to be transferred from the hospital in Iba to Subic and then back to Manila. Thanks also for bringing me straight to UST Hospital so I could have my hip swelling assessed. A special thanks also to Jofe Syquia for looking after me (follow up, etc) here in Manila.
