I had a busy day with Hannah while the boys stayed home with runny noses. Sunday school, Church, birthday party, picking up the vegetable box, consignment event half price day, and errands. As we got in the car to go home Hannah hugged me and told me Youre the best mommy ever. Youre nice and funny and sweet. I love you. Obviously I felt pretty special. Then I walked through the front door to see two adorable little boys bouncing with excitement to see me. William shouted Mommy! Mommy! And baby John flashed me the biggest toothy smile. My cup runneth over. Some days are exhausting and frustrating and loud. So very loud. So its nice to have moments like this where you remember how special it is to be a mom, and what a privilege it is to get to love these kiddos.
