I had a conversation recently with a young lady that I only talked to one time on the phone. We were texting, and we planned to hang out. She asked, is it going to be a romantic date or a friendship date?. I replied, its good to be friends first...etc?. She told me that friendship is overrated, and proceeded to try to convince me to say that it was gonna be a romantic date...Smh...Lol. Im not looking for anything serious, but in either case, friendship is always the first option. My motto is simple. I cant call her my girl, until I can call her my friend, and I cant call her my wife, until I can call u my best friend. Ive had this convo a couple of times. But the next time this happens, Ill just send the pic. Its short, and self explanatory....lol. Single people who are looking for a spouse, never underestimate the power of a good conversation, the power of a good friendship. Everything else will happen naturally...
