I had a crybaby moment... Over a week ago I posted about my Chinese student who spoke little to no English and couldnt do the work in my digital arts class. With not a word spoken I sat with her and taught her how to knit. We call it differentiated instruction. Tonight was parent teacher conferences and her mother came to thank me in Chinese for teaching her daughter a wonderful useful craft. An hour later the AP was talking to me about just teaching ESL. and a counselor asking to interview me for an art therapy thesis.
