I had a customer/friend contact me about making a Wrist/Hand Mala with some special high quality Lapis beads. I did not want to put these precious beads on elastic (I don’t really trust/like elastic and I avoid using it as much as possible), so I had an idea to make an adjustable Wrist Mala without compromising the Mala/Japa aspect of it. I really love how it came out, and that it is knotted, and I plan to make more wrist Mala’s in this style. I get asked a lot about why I don’t make wrist Malas, and I will make them upon request, but I just have this thing about elastic.
