I had a dream last night that the female Pope entrusted me with the task of delivering The Sacred Hand of Christ (which looked very much like an ivory and silver Hand of Buddha-Varada Mudra) to the Hagia Sophia. Once I placed the hand on the altar, the world would be renewed. If I failed- death for everybody. It was a journey by water. The boat sank. I was rescued by dolphins and road them to Turkey. By the time I arrived I was naked, tanned, and had developed incredible (unlikely) wisdom which I demonstrated by helping Maggie Harris win a poetic quiz show and then by rejiggering the myriad governments of the earth. Finally, I placed the hand on the altar and the world was, in a flash, renewed in Giotto colours. It was not a very Bethany dream. My brain doesnt usually do cheerful.
