I had a friend call me today I have not talked to him in over 25 years , he said he had saw something on FB, About me . Jimmy was my partner in 69 at APD. We were serving a warrant in the edge of ft worth , By Stop Six , I had gone to the door and Jimmy had gone around by back door , Three Black dudes came out the door with a pistol and had it in my face before I could react, One knocked me down on the ground and took my 357 , The one that knocked me down put the gun to my head Between my eyes, and told me he was going to blow my F head off, there was a little fat one that had my pistol in his hand , and I could see he was shaking , I thought it was all over but the shouting , But Jimmy was coming up behind them with his baton . I started to talk to the one holding the gun on me , trying to get him to say something to distract him , About that time Jimmy jumped about 3 ft and caught the one holding the gun on me in the back of the head , The little fat dude turned and jimmy busted him in the face , I turned enough that the bullet went in to ground about 5 in from my head , When Jimmy hit him I rolled just enough so it missed me , T knocked one down , and grabed my gun and we had Ft Worth PD took over , I have never prayed so hard in my life , and I have been in some bad places, but tody I asked jimmy to pray like we did that night , He said he had thanked god so many times for just letting him be there . God has blessed me and I am very thankful for all he has given me . I love you Jimmy Womach , you will always be a brother , And thanks to Sheriff lon Evans , Now Deceased RIP, He gave me a badge , and said to keep it and if I ever wanted a job , Just show up remembering a lot of the past in last few weeks , I guess it is what happens when you get close to the best part of your life , I hope you all are having a great night and a wonderful Thursday Friday and Week end . Just Send me a little prayer when you have time ,And to Mr G, you know who you are I hope you are getting richer every day , Wow we built a great company by Doing some things that were a little under handed , but it all worked out for you , God Bless you and the great grand children ,, And to my old partner Montie ( Goose ) Gatlin .
