I had a good visit with Justin today. The drive out seems shorter and shorter each time I go! I was able to bring a very good childhood friend and prayer warrior along for this visit and Justin was pleasantly and happily surprised. I see small transitions in his thinking from week to week. However, I realize that this is a long term process and he will need to be there long enough to make the changes necessary to have a better life. I have found the staff most cooperative and caring and I will probably continue to bug them with questions. Next week I hope to go out again and bring the man who has been his mentor through Ignite Youth Mentoring for a number of years. Justin is looking forward to reconnecting with Dave. Looking forward to another visit next Sunday.
