I had a great birthday by the way, I forgot to make a post about it. It was definitely a new experience. Snowboarding is an adventure! I will be going back to Stevens Pass more often thats for sure. I had an experience that felt as though it was right out of a movie. Met a group of great and down to earth people in the mountains where we shared a few drinks at the resorts bar, they were kind enough to invite Alberto and I to a secret hideout a mile away in the woods. Once parked the second adventure began, we walked a bit down the icy road, snow bank on or left where we vaulted over, now walking down steps carved from snow, slipping and sliding, being lead to a dark forest. Sounds sketch, I know hahah. Just a minute or two in the woods we come to this three story, idk, hunting cabin? First floor was all open with a bbq and the second you had to go up steps that had these red Christmas lights entangled around the posts. Once inside it was a single room with really well done interior, a tiny wood stove, a small kitchen with a mini fridge off to the side, completely furnished with power. The third floor was a bunking area. Anyways, we all gathered around a small table and enjoyed glasses of wine as we sang Riptide while one of them strumming the tune on their ukulele.
