I had a great session this morning with the Townsville General Practice Nurses, who were very keen to see how they could incorporate the non-diet, weight-inclusive approach with their patients. All went very well. And what a week its been for my youngest daughter Meaghan. If you have been following the story, you will know how incredibly brave she has been in openly discussing with the media how one of her photographs, taken by the wonderful Pip Summerville, (was without permission), photoshopped to completely change her natural body shape to some sort of supposed cultural ideal. Well, its amazing how things can take a turn when someone takes a brave and strong stand. Meaghan has just been offered an incredible opportunity to be a regular blogger for the Huffington Post UK. It is a wonderful pleasure for me to share her first post with you (although I do feel a bit self-conscious about her lovely comment about her father.)
