I had a great time yesterday in San Francisco ...spending time with the Future. See those talented young musicians? They are Jazz Performers from The Westlake Middle School in Oakland. We were at the Headquarters of STUB HUB for an event, co-ordinated with The Mr. Hollands Opus Foundation , focusing on making sure that Music Education exists in our schools...because, in many cases, it DOESNT! The wonderful Lady standing with me on the far left is FELICE MANCINI, the President of The Mr. Hollands Opus Foundation. A great lady, who also happens to be the daughter of one of the most famous musicians and Composers in History: HENRY MANCINI. I enjoyed Emceeing this great event, meeting wonderful people, and alerting everybody , especially people of influence, that, when kids have access to music and the Arts, it really does change them for the better; gives them a reason to live, which makes life better for all of us!
