I had a incident in the shoppe yesterday, where a woman felt compelled to stomp her feet, repeatedly yell at me, and slam the door on her way out that my Whoopee Pies cost too much, and refused to pay for it after it had been packaged for take out and rung up. I respect that some feel that my prices/ and other small business people such as myself, may have a bit heftier prices and thats ok, but it is not ok to make a scene as such due to a difference of opinion. Please take into consideration that: 1. I am not a corporation with high volume or employees. Everything is baked fresh, not in a factory and shipped to me pre-made like grocery store bakeries. 2. I am the sole proprietor and am responsible for all you see & enjoy. 3. I cover all expenses ALONE. 4. I bring you a quality product that is not offered anywhere else around here. 5. I do not get a paycheck yet. 6. I live and breath Kenwood Kakes & Confections, so that I can offer the community a Sweet Treat from time to time.
