I had a lady come into BK the other day. She was walking with a cane, very slow, you could tell it was just a struggle to make it to the counter. When she did reach the counter, she said she was so sorry that it took her so long. I assured her that is was fine. When she went to pay for her food, you could also tell it was a struggle for her to get her money out. She again said she was so sorry. I told her not to worry about it, I needed a little break to just stand here anyways. We both laughed. Later on that day, I get some really grouchy customers, who biggest problem seemed to be how to hold their cell phone, and get in their wallet at the same time. I thought to myself....here is this sweet little old lady, that can barely walk, barely use her hands, in bad health I am sure. But still so polite, smiling, happy. I dont really know what the point of this status is, except to maybe say, are your really having a bad day? Could you be in a worse situation than you are now? For most of us, compared to others, we are proably having a pretty good day. SMILE, BE NICE, BE HAPPY. Because people worse off than you, ARE SMILING, BEING NICE AND HAPPY.
