I had a little cat accident at the local Fluvanna SPCA today. Hes now hanging out in the upstairs bathroom. I have the most tolerant (and cat-loving) husband in the world. Id come to the conclusion that we had space for one more cat, so I decided Id get to know the cats at the shelter. Well, one of them scratched at me every time I walked by his cage while cleaning the other cages. I found this annoying as his nails were rather sharp. When I took him out to clean his cage, he cuddled to me like I have never seen a cat cuddle, and he had no interest in getting down. Were currently fostering him to see how he does with the other cats, but I think hes going to be fine. Id post a picture of him, but they keep their website very up-to-date, so his pic is down already (will photograph him later). In related news, I saw Teddy hiss for the first time today. Georgie just looked curious when I carried Kingsley (final name TBD) into the house, Meesha did the cat equivalent of a sigh, and Teddy hissed. Interestingly, Georgie is now camped out right in front of the bathroom door, Meesha is sleeping in the chair in front of the window, and Teddy is resting, a bit nervously, on top of one of the bookshelves.
