I had a little ritual in my home on Cacao Avenue in San Marcos.. - TopicsExpress

I had a little ritual in my home on Cacao Avenue in San Marcos.. as the rhythms of the jungle would draw me back to moving with the sun and the moon, the light and the night... i would begin to naturally wake at dawn. I would heat the water in a pot and melt in the Cacao whilst watching the light shifting over the volcanoes opposite from my kitchen window. The sounds outside would change.. sometimes other heart beats would be sleeping in the house... sometimes it was silent. But it was my moment to commune with the energy of a lake whose life force flowed with mine.. whose energy had woven to transform me. I would sit next to the fireplace with a woolen blanket by the big windows and watch the colours change.. In that moment, in that breath of stillness, nothing more was needed. No one else was needed. I was in love with a decision to be present on an earth where such beauty could be possible. And on some days, that would be what sustained me. -*A*-
