I had a long conversation with my brother-in- law last night. He is an attorney and has worked both sides of the fence- prosecution and defense. I explained about our conversations regarding a specific product and it pros and cons. I specifically referenced the now deleted thread about the ball shaped speakers and those who install them. What he said was very interesting. It makes no difference in a thread that has easily identifiable pictures of a given device, location,or whatever, whether you mention the name or not.Pictures were used. In this case, there is only one manufacturer of the devices in question that I am aware of, so they are instantly identifiable. If no images were used and there was ONLY text regarding the products in question, it would require using the trademarked name. If there is an image you have still used a trademarked name.
