I had a lot of firm beliefs about the world when I 13. I thought an eyebrow ring would be a good idea, I thought I could be a professional skater, I thought high school was difficult. As I grew I learned that these were all wrong. But how I felt about the cops in town when I was 13 turned out to be pretty accurate. I thought they had nothing better to do than pick on people, I thought they were corrupt and I thought that a lot of them were straight up assholes. Its nice to have been right about one thing when you were 13. I also still kind of think I might look cool with an eyebrow ring.
