I had a lovely day yesterday with my daughter, Tami! We first had pedicures, which were very nice! Then we had a great lunch in the Arroyo Grande village, took a nice walk, had a delicious cone from Doc Bernsteins all the while solving the worlds problems so the rest of you wont have to worry anymore! I still had some errands to run so I went to the Post Office, stopped at CVS and then on to Vons, the grocery store.....except I caught my shoe on a pillar and came crashing down on the concrete sidewalk, landing on the left side of my face! Needless to say I look like Ive run into that NFL player, Rice, with a cut on my forehead, scrapes on my cheeks nose and chin as well as a split lip! My pedicure is toast and sunglasses have seen better days, but I am grateful. First, I am grateful to the perfect strangers who came to my aid, including Chad from the Smokeshop, who immediately came to help me up, bringing towels, water and encouragement. Also the sales rep from CocaCola who offered to drive me to Urgent Care and also was very kind as well as the young man from Subway who brought me some napkins to help stop the bleeding. I did not go to Urgent Care, as I felt foolish and was steady on my feet. I am also,grateful that my injuries were not worse. No broken bones, no lost teeth, nothing permanent! And I am grateful for my husband, who took great care of me and my daughter who called immediately and had the girls call with FaceTime this morning. So Im banged up, but alive and well. No. I wont be posting embarrassing pictures....lol .
