I had a meeting today with the Japanese publisher who I was initially going to do my book with. After thinking about it and weighing up the options, I think its much smarter for now to self-publish a small run and see how it goes and keep control of the images. This basically is the most risk free way of selling my work and means I can gauge realistic interest before placing an order. I will be taking pre-orders from any friends and family in Australia or Japan who are interested from tomorrow until this Wednesday, December 10th, and placing an order at the end of the week for delivery during early January (possibly sooner, but because of the time of year I think January is more realistic). $40.00 including delivery for a 40 page hardcover 25x20cm book of my film photography (this is basically cost price) I will have examples of the book up tomorrow, if you are interested please either like this status and Ill contact you or send me a message, thanks.
