I had a nice email yesterday from Detta asking if I was ok as she hadnt heard from me for ages! It got me thinking I needed to do something in the village for a change! I wanted a little something to fill the gap behind the pub. In the end I went with a bus shelter! I started off with some odd bits of ply although my saw blade broke so wasnt an easy as job as I hoped! I painted with sand mixed with emulsion and covered the roof in sandpaper and painted it grey. Added a bench, a bus stop sign and a light for the darker evenings and its now ready to go! I had to raise it up a bit so the door to anchor will still open! Theres a couple of WI ladies waiting for the bus to Upper Quayside so they can do some shopping! I can have a bit of fun with this changing the scenes inside! I have ordered a younger man from Detta, a bit of a bad boy so him and Stacey can get a bit fresh in there after a night at the pub lol :-)
