I had a nice political chat with this lady (shes was in her 80s) on Saturday. She was asking me why I was no longer on the radio... and I explained to her how the FCC works. (Its a government thing) and when I told her I was running for office. She says kinda bluntly WELL IM A DEMOCRAT. I said well thats the good thing about our city government its non-partisan so party doesnt matter :) I could tell she was waiting for me to say which party I was a part of... lol (I might have waited a bit because I was afraid the conversation would go bad) I said Well Im a registered republican but I have my democrat moments :) She smiled and I said I think its best to vote for the right person for the job and I dont really pay much attention to party affiliation She agreed and said shed vote for me for whatever office I ran for. (she kinda made my day) :)
