I had a nightmare lastnight. The same one I had for years. I hadnt had it for a few years till lastnight. Some of you may remember when I was attacked while getting in my truck in Boston square after work at Specialist of Hair Design. For those that dont know. I left work was getting in my truck when I was grabbed from behind. I thought he was gonna rob me so I dropped my purse on ground and yelled take it. He then put his hand over my mouth and started to push me in my truck. I knew then he wasnt trying to rob me. I thought of my boys and my adrenaline went crazy. I started fighting for my life! I wasnt gonna leave my young sons without a mom. You hear of people lifting cars with strength they didnt know they had during life or death situations, thats what happened with me. He was holding me around my waist with one had and around my mouth with his other hand. I bite down on his fingers and kicked him in the knee at same time. He let go of my mouth but not my waist. He never said a word but I did hear another guys voice coming from behind the building about 10 feet away saying Do you got her? At that point I knew I had to get away. The guy had me lifted off the ground. I headed butted him with back of my head and kicked back between his legs and hit him where it counts. He dropped me to the ground and I jumped up and ran as fast as I could toward the salon. I looked back thinking he would be chasing me. He wasnt thank God! I saw 2 guys running up the hill the opposite way. I fell to the floor and said call cops Ive been attacked I think I passed out. I remember opening my eyes and seeing my father in law Wayne Humphrey. He was on sheriffs department. He told me they had dogs tracking ther scent. They tracked the scent to railroad tracks and thats where they lost scent. The guys were never caught. It was dark and they were wearing dark clothes. I never saw his face cause he had me from behind the whole time. The other guy was at cornor of building 10 feet away. I ended up with bloody lip and brusing on my wrists and around my waist. But I got away...the next day every news station was waiting on me when I came to work. I turned around and went home. Couldnt deal with that. They bugged me daily so I finally gave them a interview hoping to warn other women to be aware of surrounds when alone. I relive the whole thing in my nightmare. Its something I have to live with. It has made me be more cautious when out at night alone. With the way crime is rampant now more than 12 years ago, please be careful ladies!! I carry mace in one hand and my keys with one key through my fingers facing out so I could jab in eye if need to. Sorry for the long message. Just dont want anyone to go through what I did.
