I had a physical this morning. Ive had it scheduled for weeks, after my Saturday episode, I was glad to see the doctor. He confirmed that it was likely food poisoning - again based on the suddenness of onset, the violence of it, and the brevity of it. I am actually feeling myself today and my bowels seem to be back to normal (for those who are keeping track). Other than that, my physical went great. Dr. is pleased with the weight loss. As usual, my total cholesterol is so low that it doesnt matter how it breaks down (altho the entire lipid panel looks great). Blood chemistry looks good, blood sugar under control. The one # outside the reference range was Vitamin D. He wasnt concerned, but wants me to take a supplement everyday. My Blood pressure is controlled (112/72 today). PSA practically nonexistent and everything else feels right. He declared me fit to walk 650 miles and wished me well doing it.
