I had a pile of clothes that required repairing and I thought while I was working on those I would replace Jellys dirty ripped to shreds bed. So in the last hour and a half I stitched out this new king size puppy bed. Unlike beds Ive made before I altered what I would normally use. Jelly tends to dig at her bed to get the stuffing to move about then shell lay down so this time I selected a thick high thread count fabric so it can last a little. And what luck I found an awesome Japanese pattern! Previous I used felt or a flech fabric for the bottom of the bed but having bamboo floors dust and fur was being collected easily so this time I found this kind of cotton/plastic fabric. Lastly I used a metal zipper as Jelly loves to chew of the plastic zips for some reason. Jelly was super excited and within minutes of sitting in her new bed she fell asleep :)
