I had a pleasant encounter with my dental hygienist today. It turns out she had Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma, and she had been treated with RCHOP, and she has been in remission for a few years now. She also does team in training stuff with the leukemia/lymphoma society, and we had a really nice conversation between a extremely thorough scraping and polishing of my teeth. She also took the time out to show me how to more effectively floss my teeth. Its the little things.
