I had a problem today with the mouse on my Chromebook, the mouse was jumping around on to different points on the screen....so I googled and got this response 11/27/12 ive seen this issue with multiple models in one house, but only sometimes. the cursor appears to jump between fixed vertical points. some outlets are worse than others. but only when plugged in. seemed to be an issue that the power in the house wasnt particularly clean (the line is noisy). probably related to when a hot water pump kicked on. you could also try plugging your chromebook into a power strip that plugs into the wall (preferably one that has some level of surge protection as that might also implicitly help out as a power conditioner). im guessing you dont have an oscilloscope you could plug into the wall and see what the AC looks like, or what kind of DC ripple is coming out of the power supply :). Well wonders never cease... I was charging my computer and washing my sheets in hot water! Too Funny
