I had a really great day yesterday. Although the journey to Stamford was longer than expected, it really was worth it. I enjoyed working with a new client who has an amazing business with massive potential to grow even further. We spent hours identifying the different opportunities they have to grow their business even further and how they can best use Infusionsoft to help. Although Im best known as an Infusionsoft geek, my real passion is helping businesses grow, sharing my experience and expertise and doing my best to help my clients avoid the mistakes that Ive made in the past! If my journey has inspired you and youd be interested in me working with you on your business, please get in touch. As a recently approved GrowthAccelerator coach, its possible to work with me over a 3-5 month period for as little as £600 if you qualify for this government-funded scheme - and you dont need to be even thinking of using Infusionsoft to work with me! Im still continuing the process of firing myself and making great progress on this at last! By the time Ive finished this, the only two things Ill be doing in the business will be the consulting that I love, and developing the business by talking to the right partners, clients and prospects so that we grow our client base. Ive found three great new helpers who are each taking over a lot of the work that I was previously doing in the evenings (because I was too busy during the day!) and, although theres a *lot* of work needed to get all the information out of my head and turned into documented processes, Im grasping the nettle and were making great progress. At the same time, although Im still feeling the pressure and responsibility of being the business owner, Im getting a much greater sense of confidence in the future and seeing revenue continuing to grow - more slowly than Id like, but as Roger Hamilton has often said, its dangerous to force a business to grow too quickly... things can get out of control and we should learn from nature. If youre growing a plant or a tree, you can feed it and nurture it but no amount of miracles will make it grow twice as quickly... this is a marathon, not a sprint. Im still walking Lola the Labrador pretty much every morning (apart from yesterday when I had a very early start on the road), and Im sporting a nice big bruise today from where I bashed my knee climbing over a fence (its alright for Lola, she can duck under it!). Anyone got any Arnica? Hope you all have a wonderful day, are you getting help from the right people? Make sure youre not trying to do everything yourself!!! :-)
