I had a series of blood tests done and was told the results would be back late afternoon of the day they were done or early the following morning. I asked my doctor why would these results be back so fast when the test they had done two weeks prior were not back for 6 days. She told me because the one that took 6 days had to be tested on animals. She knows I am vegan and I did not react well. Her response was that animals have no conscience. I responded that I do and why was that ordered when she knew my feelings on the matter. It has been bothering me ever since and I dont understand her response. Can anyone make sense of it? What does animals have no conscience have to do with it and what does that mean. I now will question every test they do on me. If it includes animal testing I will refuse it. I wonder how often this is done without our knowledge. I never would have known had I not asked about the time frame.
