I had a thought about this great country of ours. Politicians are always talking about campaign funding reform. If we look at that along with 4 major issues concerning all of us: Education, Health Care, Care for our Service men and women and our nations infrastructure, we might find a way to take care of all of the above. Campaign Contributions could be made to be unlimited. Every corporation, every individual could contribute whatever amount they wanted. However, one half of everything that is contributed would go into a general fund where 25% would go to advancing our education programs. 25% would go to providing health care for EVERY American. 25% would go to making sure our veterans get the services they need. The remaining 25% would be used to repair and maintain the infrastructure throughout the country. Though this is not a perfect fix, we still have politicians to contend with in implementing the concept, at least its a thought and might be a viable start to putting this country back on track. Something at least for our elected leaders (who are way smarter than me) to think about. Of course there would be major opposition from the 1% and those that support them.
