I had a thought this past weekend of how often those of us that train use anger/hate/rage/frustration as a driving force Ive had a lot of good things happen in my life lately, and I havent had much to draw upon in regards to the rage. That was my catalyst when I first started lifting for sure, but its had to evolve into a different kind of fury. The iron is its own therapy, and I dont doubt that training for most all of us serves a cathartic role and acts as a release for all the shit in your life that you cant express or get out. At the same time though, you cant be pissed off and angry forever. You cant be hating something or someone forever. Rage can be utterly consuming to the core, but I question whether its an infinite well to draw upon your whole life. It seems like path towards self destruction Or maybe you can be rage filled forever, but it doesnt seem like that would be a very fulfilling life, or leave much room for being happy. There is far more to existence than going berserk over the plates on the bar #elitefts #mountaindog
