I had a very old 10# Yorkie Named Cricket that terrorized the very old Mail Man. Cricket was always on her Cable in her own yard and would just wait for the mailman every day. All she did was RRUFF RRUFF RRUFF ( Bark like a big huge dog) & he sprayed her with Mace or what ever it was called at the time. Sad to say she was small enough that he could have just been NICE to her like my Other mail Lady and gave her a tiny tiny dog treat instead of doing that to her. She died at 16 yrs old and I got Oreo that did the same thing and was as nice as could be but she still Barked like a big huge dog and lived till 19 yrs old. Maybe if PPL would just be NICE to Dogs they would not be threatend when some one came into their domain. My tiny Peanut Butter ON His cable does the same thing protecting his yard & me, But he would never hurt anyone. He only wants to play. Small dog or big dog does not matter. They are just protecting what they think is theirs
