I had a wonderful experience last night that I wish to share. And evidently, it is meant that I share it as my computer crashed 3 times (never has done that before) in trying to make this post but the devil has been bound. Last night as I was closing my eyes to go to sleep, I suddenly saw an angel. I did not imagine it nor was I thinking about it, but it just appeared standing over me and was holding a sword. I saw it (with my eyes closed) as clearly as anything. It had golden curly hair and a facial appearance that was radiant with a perfected complexion. Its garments were very elaborate with great detail and attached to it were items that I cant describe as Ive never seen them before. This continued up to a headdress. I could see the details of the face so clearly, but I cant describe it. Then I saw a large red looking stone which was clear and transparent. It felt like my spirit went through this stone and a feeling of flying. Then I saw Jesus. He was standing with a torch. Then He lifted the torch up higher and as he did it became larger and larger engulfing the area as far as I could see with light. I immediately then awoke Michael and told him what I saw. The first thing that came to his mind was a description in the book of Revelation about 12 stones that lay at the foundation of the city New Jerusalem. We looked up the passage of scripture, but were unfamiliar with most of these stones. I looked online to see what the appearance of these stones would be, and discovered that the Jasper stone looked very much like what I saw with the exception that it was opaque and what I saw was very clear. We did a word search for Jasper and this is what I found: Revelation 21: 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal ; So this really excited me. The Jasper stone that John saw was also clear and not opaque. Some other references are: Revelation 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. Revelation 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; I am very humbled by the fact God would show me such things, but as we draw nearer to Him He reveals Himself more to us as we go deeper into His presence. Jesus is mighty, glorious, magnificent, excellent, all powerful, and He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
