I had a wonderful interaction with my favorite couple today & felt compelled to share it. Theyve been married a staggering nearly SEVENTY FOUR YEARS & are positively adorable together. You can just see she adores him & his adoration of her is palpably obvious. We always have wonderful interactions & today, I said, I dont think Ive ever asked how you met. This rugged, gentle man reminiscent of Clint Eastwood lit up, told me & followed it with You know, I wasnt really looking for anyone when I met her. And I never have since. Shes made my life happy beyond belief. Whew. Talk about tearing up. She came along, grinned & said, What are you boys talking about? He told her & she just glowed like a little girl. She touched his arm & sweetly said, I cant imagine life without him. Hes made every day worth living. We really hope you find what we have. Youre such a fine, young man & so deserve such a girl. Good thing I dont wear mascara because Id have done my Tammy Faye Bakker impression. She blew me a kiss & as they walked away, she rubbed his back arched by nearly 95 years & lovingly touched his head with hers. I know a lot of couples with loves like this. It IS real. And we are all worthy of it.
