I had a wonderful time at OCALICON, this event felt like a dream! I still cant believe it was me on that big beautiful stage! It was cool to have my very good friend Sondra Williams introduce me to such a large crowd. Over 1,500 attended my presentation. I was a little nervous at first, but when I got up on stage, everything just flowed–I just did a couple of mistakes, but I dont think anyone noticed...LOL. Overall, my keynote speech turned out to be a HUGE success. Im definitely looking forward seeing the live-stream version online at: conference.ocali.org/ I shared about my accomplishments, my life, and employing people with disabilities, as well as showed 5 of my videos. It was so cool that I was sponsored by Hasbro, WOW! They were at OCALICON, launching their new product called, ToyBox Tools, which is a series of videos teaching children with developmental disabilities learn how to play with their new toys designed for children with disabilities. How cool is that? Take a look at this article from the Huffington post! huffingtonpost/2014/11/19/toys-for-autistic-children_n_6186648.html It also was very cool to have Hasbro sponsor my booth, where I sold my books and DVDs, which sold out quickly, but mostly everyone just wanted to take a picture with me. :) It was fantastic to see many familiar faces and some new friends including Lydia Wayman she is one of my biggest inspirations; And Brigid Ann and Chloe Rothschild; they also took part in the conference, and did a fantastic job. Then I had an excellent interview with the crew of an autism certification series called, ASD in Action. A series that will be out on 2015. I just want to say thank you and looking forward seeing everyone again soon! I am eternally grateful for this fantastic opportunity to Sondra Williams, Simon Buehrer, and the whole OCALICON crew for making this fantastic event possible, and also to all of my friends and attendees for attending my keynote speech.
