I had an absolutely brutal test/procedure done today. Call a Diskogram. The surgeon wanted to see if the 2 herniated disks above my old spinal fusion were leaking or if they were solid enough to leave them out of any fix of the broken fusion. They were unable to even get a needle into 2 levels of my spine due to how close the bones are together, and how little disk there is left. The one level they were able to inject with the dye showed that the disk is not solid, and will need to be fixed. They sent me, with the dye in my spine to get another CAT scan. I have an appt next week with the surgeon to go over everything. The test today has me flat on my back. Gonna take a long time to heal up from this one.... eek.... I will put together a better update next week after my appointment with the surgeon, and I have gone over all the data with him.
