I had an awesome day volunterring for the Munice Ironman race today. I saw some very impressive male and female athletes. The young man who won-Andrew Starykowicz swam 1.2 miles in 24:25 minutes-biked 56 miles in 2hrs. even and ran a half marathon 13.1 miles in 1hr and 17 minutes a 5:56 pace. All of these numbers are staggering to me. When he came running through our station I was in awe becsause at the time he had almost a mile lead on the nearest competitor and looked like a machine, so focused on his goal. Very inspiring day!!
