I had an elderly man with a cane in front of me ask the guy for more meat on his burrito bowel at a Chipotle today at lunch. The server guy, responded extra meat will be extra money. You know how they always announce this when you order guacamole? This made the elderly man was disappointed and a bit insulted. I think he wanted a just a spoonful extra not a pound. Anyway, when he went to check out, he realized he forgot his wallet, so in frustration, he made a swear under his breath and started to bolt. I asked him if I could buy him lunch and handed the cashier a gift card I had. He just about lost his lunch (pun intended). We should be nicer to each other. Little things matter. Probably made me feel better than him. And his mood definitely changed.
