I had an insanely vivid dream a couple weeks ago and got wrapped up in something that kept me from posting it. Essentially, I found myself having a barbecue attended exclusively by all the most whoopass women I know. From all different parts of my life, I was surrounded by all this strong, beautiful, hardcore feminist energy. Among those in attendance: my sisters Becky Bastow, & Sarah Browning Soden, Karen Browning, Whitney Leigh, Nikki MacMillan, Apryl McAnerney, Keri Keane, Kaylyn Keane, Natasha Karsk, Anne Richardson, among others. Appearances were also made at times by Caitlin Harsch, Sherri Sue Simpson, Kimbot Sherman, Kenzi Clark, Lesley Melincoff and some of my other favorite ladies. All these ladies, most of whom didnt know each other before, got to meet a mingle. It was one of the happiest pictures my brain has ever painted. Thanks ladies, for being such badasses. PS: apologies for any names left off this list. I promise, if youre a positive female entity in my life, you were there.
