I had an interesting discussion about generational attitudes just now. Generation Y and the Millennial generation are only separated by ten years. (Generation Y 1970s-1990s, Millennials 2000+). I was born in 1992 so I am at the tail end of Generation Y, which is for the most part viewed with favor, unlike the Millennials. So when people say, Oh you young people..., it is important for those of us born in the late 1980s-1990s to ask, to which young people are you referring? to avoid being stigmatized.
