I had an opportunity - or more like I made the time to have a lunch date with one of the most beautiful and kind women in my life - My Mom. Over the years I would always say to myself - there is always time. More time to sit and spare a few hours for her. More chances to sit down one on one and have a chat. Sitting with her today and having a meal and talking about life, work, everything and anything made me realize how very lucky I am to have such a supportive and caring person who has known me for 32 years of my life - that I am able to spend time face to face and get to know her not only as a mother, but as woman, a person, and someone I love and respect. And it was only a few hours of my day. Make the most of the relationship you have or improve the one you don’t. You’ll be amazed at how much better life gets when you do.
