I had been trying to duck the #bookworm #bookbucketchallenge because even though I read, books dont stay with me, and that makes me feel sad and inadequate :/ - I immerse in them as I read and then I forget... But the thing that does stay with me is the knowing that I felt lost in the book when I read it... and in the days that follow... I refuse to come out of that world... and maybe, even if for a little while, I pick up a nuance of a resonant character and it becomes me.... and sometimes, on a lucky day, a word or phrase from one of these books re-visits my mind and then it all seems worthwhile :) So here is for the books.. sometimes forgotten.. but forever loved... thanks Rajat for making me do this... And in turn I nominate Kishore Roy, Yoshika Gurnani , Visalam Narayanan , Nishtha Saxena and Vibhor Yadav in case one of you fails to complete the challenge of naming your fav 10 books in a facebook status within 24 hrz... there is a list at the end - of the books I plan to read.. gift me one ! lol ;) :P In no particular order of love : 1. The Magic (Rhonda Byrne) - gratitude has stayed with me ever since :) 2. Into The Wild (Jon Krakauer) - reading currently
